An exciting full-time opportunity exists in Perth for a skilled individual who is experienced in software development has extensive knowledge and exposure to various programming languages.
About The Company
Our client is a dynamic and professional organisation specialising in the supply and installation of solar PV, storage systems and solar hot water systems. They are a national based company and listed amongst the largest providers in the country.
About The Role
The primary duty for this role will be to work together with the internal IT team to improve existing software and developing new solutions to assist with streamlining business processes.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Researching, designing, implementing and managing software programs
- Testing and evaluating software applications
- Identifying areas for modification in existing software applications and subsequently developing these modifications
- Writing and implementing efficient code
- Determining operational practicality
- Developing quality assurance procedures
- Deploying software tools, processes and metrics
- Maintaining and upgrading existing systems
- Training users
- Working closely with other developers, designers and stakeholders
About You
To perform this job successfully, you should have a tertiary qualification in computer science or equivalent, and extensive experience working in a software development role.
Selection Criteria
- Good oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels with internal and external stakeholders
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience within a software development role
- Driver's license
- Experience in the following programming software: Visual Studio .Net Framework, C#, Javascript, Angular, MSSQL, SSRS, REST services
- knowledge and interest in latest technology
- Logical thinker and strong analytical skills
- Attention to details
- The ability to communicate complex procedures to other colleagues
- A technical qualification computer science, computer programming, or related field
